Matthew James Mercieca Design Architects, Malta, was established in 2003 and has grown to a team of seven professional and technical staff.  August 2008 saw their workplace transformed with a contemporary refurbishment.

Senior Architect and Director of the company, Matthew J. Mercieca described the project:

“The aim was to update the image and design of our offices which we had taken over from a third party.  I viewed Boss Design products at 100% Design last year.  I am always on the lookout for companies that offer an ideal balance between design, quality and value.  Boss have an excellent image and the quality and ergonomics on the task chairs are extraordinary.”

A selection of Boss products were ordered for the office workspace – with the intention that they could also be used to demonstrate to clients. 

The Sona and Sonatec task seating ranges were specified in a tortuga orange Camira fabric and grey leather for the workspace areas. Designed by Paul Brooks, these sleek task chairs are the epitome of Boss Design’s sophisticated style, featuring a unique J-bar and numerous ergonomic adjustments.

The recently launched Mars chair was used in the boardroom.  The Mars chair sports a revolutionary back rest which was specified in a white finish.  The contemporary and original design of Mars was the perfect accompaniment to the elegant white lacquered meeting room table in the boardroom.

Other Boss products specified for the project included the quirky Skoot chair and the stylish Kruze collection, designed by David Fox.
