Steljes is a leading technology market development and services organisation. The group has been in business for over 20 years, and now comprises of six companies, under the strategic direction of Steljes Group. 2007 saw Steljes relocate its offices to larger office facilities in Surrey. This move would better accommodate their rapidly expanding business operation.
The Steljes Group has grown dramatically over the years. Alex Blackmun, Operations and Facilities Manager for Steljes says; ‘It was very much in our mind-set that this was a business that had grown dramatically and we had previously not given the staff the environment that they deserved. '
He added; ‘It would also help us to attract and retain good quality people. We needed to support planned growth and create a nicer environment for our customers to visit.’
The ODB Group were selected for the project and given a brief to create a collaborative space that would portray Steljes as an open, young and vibrant company.
To do this ODB realised that they would need to provide Steljes with tremendous facilities and selected design-led products to reflect this aspiration. Stylish, Boss Design classics such as the G chair were specified in a crisp white leather for the reception area, creating a contemporary and welcoming entrance.
Once inside the main area of the new facilities, the eye-catching, highly comfortable Choo seating range was specified for the break-out and client areas. The Boss Design Choo chairs were upholstered in a bright red fabric, adding the all important splash of colour to the informal meeting spaces.
