Boss Design is delighted that their popular Choo chair is featuring on both the sets of the BBC and ITV Sport’s World Cup 2010 in South Africa.

The ITV Sports set was designed by Production Designer, Paul Engesser-Sudlow and the Choo chair was specified in a sophisticated cream vinyl and complemented with a chrome 4-leg base - the perfect contrast to the red hues of the vibrant studio set.

Paul Engesser-Sudlow comments on his decision to select the Choo chair;

'We did extensive research into the style of the seating and selected the Choo chair from Boss Design for its distinctive style and exceptional comfort.  We had to take into consideration that the presenters were going to be seated for very long periods of time - on some occasions for over 12 hours a day - so we were looking for a chair that could accommodate this, yet still offer a stylish aesthetic.'

He continues;

'I have used Boss Design chairs on a number of occasions from my Crimewatch days through to BBC News, so I was already familiar with the styling and high quality finish of their products.  I also needed to work with a company who could provide a quick turnaround as I needed to transport the chairs weeks in advance of the World Cup and Boss Design were able to rise to this challenge.'

Sports personalities regularly using Choo include Adrian Chiles, Kevin Keegan and Edgar Davids.  The feedback on the chair has been very positive with guests and presenters commenting on the exceptional comfort and relaxed style of the Choo chair.
